Album Reviews
For 25 years now, Australia’s Frenzal Rhomb has been blazing over dusty roads all over the globe. Always on to the next show, boozin’ and breaking limbs along the way. I’m not sure how come they’re still around, but - like a bad rash - they are.
“We Lived Like Kings” takes you on a trip as well. No dusty roads in sight here though, just a trip down memory lane over the course of 34 tracks (and 1 bonus track). The track-listing includes classic tunes like “Never Had So Much Fun”, “Punch In the Face” and “You Are A Knob” and leads all the way up to “Mummy Doesn’t Know You’re A Nazi” and “Alvarez” from 2011’s “Smoko At The Pet Food Factory”.
Frenzal Rhomb’s tuneage is well worth revisiting and “We Lived Like Kings” is a great way to do so. And with a new album on the horizon, it doesn’t look like we’ll be rash-free anytime soon.
