Singing Lungs is back with a new E.P. recorded from their homes using 4 iPhones during quarantine. In the vein of 90’s punk and indie rock with similarities to early Goo Goo Dolls, Lemonheads, and Smoking Popes, the band continues to push forward with a sense of urgency, melody, and introspection. With content ranging from navigating the ups and downs of life, the urgent need for creative expression in less than ideal circumstances, questioning overconfidence, and paying attention to yourself, “Phone From Car” attempts to sort out moments in time in order to continue moving forward. The new songs are being released digitally and on a limited edition lathe cut 7 inch by Count Your Lucky Stars Records.
