Our favorite Alaskans are back with a shiny new disc full of brand new songs. The band in question is called 36 Crazyfists and they dubbed their lastborn “The Tide And Its Takers”. They haven’t changed a thing to their sound but why should they? Some saying about changing and winning team probably applies here.

Armed with a shitload of heavy riffage, melodic parts, breakdowns and Brock Lindow’s trademark vocals, they do what they do best on their Ferret debut… write heavy yet undeniably catchy songs. And we’ve all caved for that sound on the band’s past three releases, haven’t we? I don’t care whether you’re a metalhead, a hardcore kid or a sexually ambiguous emo kid, we’re all into 36 Crazyfists. Even in spite of the dumb band name.

So check out “The Tide And Its Takers” from the brutal opening track “The All Night Lights” right down to the acoustic title track and be convinced once more by this band’s qualities!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
