Oh my… synthcore is back in full effect and it’s still friggin’ dreadful. There is just no way to combine chugging riffs, grunts and breakdowns with happy-go-lucky dance tunes. However you turn it, the result will always sound retarded.
On their follow up to 2010’s “Geeving”, Abandon All Ships take the worst aspects from Linkin Park, dance music and emocore and end up concocting songs so terrible that it’s hard to believe this is not meant as a joke.
