NY’s Broadcaster previously released one full-length (“Welcome To The Wetlands”) and two EPs. And now there’s “A Million Hours”. Put together, it’s a very consistent body of work by a trio who seemed to have their shit together right from the start.

The new album is another nicely balanced batch of power-pop/punkrock songs that come with bouncy rhythms, 90ies nostalgia, sing-along choruses and sweet, sweet melodies. Think Jawbreaker, Saves The Day in their prime and The Weakerthans. You could just as easily namedrop the Rentals or Superchunk though.

Recorded with J Robbins, “A Million Hours” sounds amazing and is just a bag of fun with solid songs like “The Current”, “Tomorrow” or “Petrified”. Check them out now and see how long it takes before a goofy smile appears on your face and you start tapping your feet.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
