After two albums as Mariachi El Bronx, these LA brawlers have taken off their sombreros for the time being and dropped a new self-titled album filled with riot-inducing riffs, angry howls and choruses that will have you pumping your fists in no time.

Are we happy? Yes, we are because as soon as opener “The Unholy Land” bursts out of the speakers, it’s instant bliss. The Bronx are one of the few bands out there who know how to combine aggression and a sense of danger with bigass hooks. That’s why when vocalist Matt shouts that in his house he shoots to kill in “Style Over Everything”, we believe him no matter how catchy the song is. Tracks like “Youth Wasted” and “Last Revelation” are equally in your face but even when they tone it down in “Torches”, they’re still kicking ass and taking names. And we’re still lapping it up!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
