Vancouver’s Chain Whip (featuring members of Fashionism, Corner Boys and Nervous Talk) have released a self-titled EP of the blink-and-you-might-miss-it variety.
‘Chain Whip’ packs five hardcore punk songs that have been flown in from the early 80ies. Growled vocals, simple yet effective riffs and well, surprisingly catchy. Especially on ‘6 Day Weekend’.
It may not be very original but they have the whole DOA/Circle Jerks thing down pat.
