C.O.F.F.I.N. and Mini Skirt are two bands from the New South Wales part of Australia who have hooked up for a new 4-song split. Penned during lock down and recorded together over 1 day, these songs sound raw, frenzied and jangly in all the right places while coming at you with strong melodies and plenty of flair from down under. It’s undeniable that both bands know exactly what they are doing and have a knack for writing solid rock ‘n roll tunes that sound just the right amount of dirty.
Whether you are talking about The Chats, Pist Idiots, Amyl & The Sniffers, there are currently a ton of Aussie bands who are taking the sounds of ‘70s and ‘80s pub rock and running with it. And you can definitely add C.O.F.F.I.N. (which by the way is short for Children Of Finland Fighting In Norway in case you were wondering) and Mini Skirt to that list of bands who are giving it one hell of a go.
