Remember With The Punches? Measured In Grey? Or what about Autopilot Off? Well, some of these dudes started a new band. It’s called Dead Ahead (not to be confused with the Grateful Dead cover band) and they just released their self-titled debut EP on Panic State Records.

The EP comes with four songs. One could argue that four songs is not a lot, but in this case it’s more than plenty to get a firm grasp on the band’s melodic punk rock. Listening to opening track "Cold Truth" or "Exit Letters" (my personal favorite!), you'll probably pick up on some of their influences and if you want you can most likely hear where they sound a bit like their former bands as well. But is that a bad thing? Hell no! If you’re into scruffy tunes with gruff vocals and plenty of hooks, then you’re going to want to check this out. Not sure what else you want me to say about this… pick it up, listen to it and let it make your day a whole lot more fun!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
