Australia’s favorite skatepunks are back with a new 5-song EP called “Can I Borrow A Feeling?”. It’s The Decline’s first new release in three years after a particularly busy 2013 that saw the band touring with Descendents, Implants, Useless ID and coming over to Europe for a month.
That’s all good and well but what about the songs on here? Well, they’re pretty friggin’ busy as well… fast-paced, highly melodic, plenty of dual vocal action and they come with some sweet singalong moments. Is it original? Fuck no, we already have NOFX and New Found Glory… but who cares when it’s this good and comes with an Aussie accent?
Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
