Expect a major Joan Jett flashback to hit when looking at the cover of The Donnas’ new album. Now I don’t know which one of these cute-looking ladies hoisted her hiny in those leather pants but I swear I’ll find out. Only in the name of rock journalism of course!
But it’s actually a good album cover because the leather pants, the belt and the Def Leppard-styled logo, all show what the Donnas are still about after 14 years and that is putting 80ies hardrock in a poppunk jacket. No, it’s hardly original but that doesn’t mean it’s less fun, now does it?
