Cleveland’s Light Years have released a new album called “I Won’t Hold This Against You”. They hit you over the head right from the start with fast-paced drums, loud guitars, solid hooks and just the kind of vocalist you’d expect to front a pop-punk band.

Think back to the days of Drive-Thru when you first discovered bands like New Found Glory and Allister… from the shredding in opener “Uphill Battles” all the way through to the title track, these guys have no problem keeping my interest piqued. And when they slow things down once on the acoustic-based “Hindsight” and let their inner indie-alternative self shine, they pull that off effortlessly as well. Sweet!
