Off With Their Heads is back with another album full of slightly depressing punkrock tunes that come with choruses begging to be belted out loud over the crunchy guitar riffs and solos. Meanwhile the rhythm section is bouncing all over the place while vocalist Ryan Young does the gruff vocal thing with plenty of conviction.

Their fuck you attitude remains intact on “Home” and it’s fair to say that these guys are so punk, they probably survive solely on PBR. They’re not reinventing themselves on this album but with songs like “Nightlife” and “Altar Boy”, they wrote some of their best tracks to date. There’s even a ballad of sorts on here with “Don’t Make Me Go” that comes with the kind of heart-on-their-sleeves line (don’t make me go home / I’m wanted there less than I’m wanted here) that we’ve come to love from this hard-working band.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
