New England based post-hardcore band Actor Observer will release their debut full-length album, Pareidolia, on August 24th with No Sleep Records. Today the band has unveiled another new track, called “In Your Ways,” from the upcoming record. You can listen to the song here.
 
“It's important to know yourself and take pride in who you are--flaws and all--but sometimes this pride can be so stubborn that we are unwilling to change the behaviors that we know hurt ourselves and push people away. We develop this false sense of attachment to our problems or vices, viewing them as inherent parts of our nature when they don't have to be. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy, and I've had to learn the hard way that you can't help change people who don't want to change. "In Your Ways" is a lament to the loved ones in my life, be they family, friends, or partners, who I've given up on in this regard to protect my own mental health.” - Greg Marquis
