We are very happy to premiere the video for Andy The Band's new single, 'The Elephant In The Venue'. It's the second single taken off his second release, 'Lethal Weapons,' which is out now via Sabotage Records. If you didn't already know, Andy The Band is Satanic Surfers' Andy Dahlström's solo project. And when we say solo, we do mean solo. He plays every single instrument on the album himself.
About 'The Elephant In The Venue':
'The obvious wordplay on "the elephant in the room" addresses the patriarchy in underground music culture and the blind loyalty in macho culture.'
About the video:
'Capturing an American feeling with coke, bleachers, cinema, popcorn etc, the video portrays the lonely protagonist searching his thoughts in the question whom he should trust. His male friend pops in at the end, and the point is that men should discuss feminism too.'
