Jeff Rosenstock is one busy dude - on top of releasing his new album POST- on New Year's Day via Polyvinyl and Quote Unquote Records and touring, he can now add composer to his ever-growing resume. Rosenstock has spent the past several months scoring Craig of the Creek, a new animated television show that premieres tonight at 6:25pm EST on the Cartoon Network. The show, which was co-created by Matt Burnett and Ben Levin (who previously worked on Steven Universe and Level Up), follows the precocious Craig as he leads his best friends J.P. and Kelsey on comical journeys at their neighborhood creek, transforming everyday afternoons into thrilling expeditions through imaginative play.

Rosenstock was thrilled to be asked to score the show, saying of the opportunity, "I love making music and over the past year I've made like an hour and a half of stuff for Craig of the Creek. I've been spending full days in a lil' room in my apartment mixing up all the things I loved listening to on headphones as a kid (Anthrax, Debbie Gibson, Operation Ivy, Weezer) while also getting experimental with cinematic and ambient instrumentation. It also helps that the show is super funny and easy to watch eight billion times in a row as I write this stuff. ANYway, first episode of the season is on television tonight and it's been a blast to go into what for me has been unchartered territory with a really supportive amazing crew on really great show that I'm proud to be a part of. Congrats COTC fam on making something rad!!"
