The Moore Family band - siblings Alyssa, Randy, and Dylan Moore - have released an explosive new single and music video via Asian Man Records with a message that resonates with the times. "Tired of Being Tired" bundles the malaise of social isolation with the uncertainty -- and exhaustion -- of new love into two minutes of pure pop-punk bliss.
That title sums up a universal desire to overcome the apathy that's built up over the past year, and shapes it into an effortlessly catchy tune. The song's music video leans into a relatable sense of unreality. The video, filmed at The Moore Family Band's childhood home by Natalia Elise and animated by Eric La Febre (Sad Girlz Club), unfolds over the course of one uninterrupted take and is a joyous counterpart to the song's overall message.
"There's quarantine, and depression hit a lot of people," says lead vocalist Alyssa. "I know, it's just so exhausting, being tired all the time."
Andriano played bass and provided backing vocals for the song, with Cam Macbain (Stickup Kid) on drums, and Tarif Pappu (Get Married) also providing backing vocals. "Tired of Being Tired" comes on the heels of the band's debut album, Missy, which was released in December 2020 via Asian Man Records.
