Today we have the pleasure to premiere a new track by Backwoods Payback. "Don't Try" comes off the band's upcoming album, "Fire Not Reason", which will be out December 2nd.
Backwoods Payback is a three piece stoner rock/heavy metal band out of West Chester PA & Richmond VA. Formed in 2003, they have since released three full length albums along with three eps and have toured the United States consistently for the better part of the last decade, as well as a run through Europe acoustically in Summer of 2015.
Their new album, "Fire Not Reason", was recorded and mixed in March 2016 by Mike Bardzik at Noisy Little Critter in Downingtown PA and was mastered by Dinis deCarvalho for Beast Mountain Audio in Minneapolis MN. It's also the band's first album to feature Erik Larson (Avail, Alabama Thunderpussy, Hail!Hornet, Parasytic) behind the drum kit.
"Fire Not Reason" will be out Dec 2 on all digital formats, CD, and limited cassette thru Dullest Records.
