Cartridge Heart will be releasing ‘Go Kick-Ass! 2,’ a compilation featuring 29 brand new tracks from bands around southern Ontario (and a couple from further away), all hand-picked by Cartridge Heart head honcho and general music enthusiast Jonathan Sohn. The compilation will be out this Friday, but we are already streaming the whole thing. You can find the stream below along with the complete track-listing.

“I’m a bit of a romantic about physical media. And I love making mix CDs for people – especially when I can provide a signal boost for underground artists that should be on everyone’s radar,” says Sohn about the upcoming compilation. “So this project is the ultimate gift: a mix CD of what I perceive to be the best and brightest of the independent scene; a collection of premieres, exclusives and b-sides – all previously unreleased.”

To celebrate the release, a series of release shows will be held between September 13-15 in Guelph, London, Oshawa and Toronto.
