We are happy to premiere the 7" split by LA's Sharp/Shock and Aussie mainstays Bodyjar. Each band contributed one new song to this 7", out tomorrow on Half Way Records.

When their first direct support slot run with Face To Face through the US and Canada got scrapped due to COVID-19 and with no projective reschedule dates, the band decided to get some friends involved in the form of Australia pop punk heroes, Bodyjar. Bassist and vocalist Dan Smith, having the admiration for Bodyjar from a very young age and growing up in New Zealand where the band was always larger than life, was the driving force behind this release. “After becoming friendly with Cam during the first quarantine on Instagram of all things, one day I was listening to Bodyjar in the shower, singing as loud as I could. I messaged Cam and simply said ‘Man, we should do a split 7”. To my surprise he wrote straight back, super positive and encouraging about it. Talk about ‘if you don’t ask, you never know’ kind of situation!”

Both bands have used two brand new songs for this release. ‘Reaction’ by Bodyjar and “Endless Holiday” by Sharp Shock and will be released on Melbourne record label Halfway Records, owned and operated by Kiwi export and talent Luke Yeoward.
