Charlottetown, PEI (which stands for Prince Edward Island... no, I didn't know either) skatepunks TeethOut is made up of very middle-aged men trying to do things like they were 30 again. They have just released a new single called 'Flicker Out,' which finds the band - Josh Lavigne on vocals, Ira Banks and Brandon Doyle on guitars, Pete MacDonald on bass, and Jason Ezeard on drums - drawing influences from the 90s punk sound.
Ozone - “Flicker Out was born from frustration—the kind that comes from watching the same fights play out over and over with no real winners. We wanted the song to feel urgent and raw, with lyrics that capture the exhaustion of endless conflict and the need to step away. I think Josh captured that well with his lyrics. Musically, we feel that it hits fast and hard, balancing melody with aggression, and of course, staying true to our “old-man” approach to skate-punk.”
