Western Addiction shared a video for the 1 minute and 29 seconds long rager that is “Laurette.” The single is lifted off their latest full-length, Frail Bray, out now on Fat Wreck.
Here's what vocalist Jason Hall had to say about the track:
"Hopefully this song makes you want to windmill through the sheetrock. It is actually from our Cognicide era but we changed the lyrics and improved the structure. You can read what it’s about on Brooklyn Vegan. One of my favorite parts of the entire record is Mitch’s yell coming out of the bridge. It sounds like if Frankenstein stepped on a nail, and it’s as tough as it gets. He also made this video! It is about turmoil and change. The black and white footage represents the old way of doing things and all the fear and insulation that comes from the past. The color portion is the new world bashing its way through. This world is definitely out of balance and it's time for a change.
Fire bad, hardcore good. Stay safe. "
