For their new 7”, Lucy And The Rats decided to switch things up a little. Well, a little... Lucy Ellis steps back from the mic for this one and makes room for guitarist Joe Tolosa. And with a different vocalist also comes a slight shift in sound. Whereas their last album was pretty much straight up power-pop with a garage-y twist, these two songs show more of a pop-punk side of the band.
Hopefully they will keep on shaking things up on future releases because when you have two talented vocalists in your band, it would be a shame not to use them both.
