We are excited to premiere the video for 'Pissgrave,' the latest single from New Jersey's Lost In Society. The track is taken off the band's recently released EP 'Stay Jaded,' out now on Wiretap Records. Watch the video below and check out the track-by-track feature with Nick and Zach. About the EP

Nick: "A long time coming, “Stay Jaded” is comprised of multiple recording sessions. The first half of the recorde was self produced at our space in Long Branch, NJ and is comprised of some of the very first songs written as a four piece . The back half of the record comes from a recording session with the Bouncing Soul’s Pete Steinkopf in 2018 and was mixed and mastered by John Seymour (producer of Anchor’s Aweigh and How I Spent My Summer Vacation).

Pissgrave

Nick: The first song written with our now 4th member, Sam. We wrote the music for the song when he was living with me after coming back from England. He wasn’t even in the band yet, we were just messing around with garage band. Zach came in and crushed the lyrics. I think quarantine has given people a lot of time to reflect on what they want now vs what they wanted and the lyrics touch on that feeling.

Say Anything

Zach: "Recorded mid-quarantine, “Say Anything” is the first song written and produced in our own studio space. The song covers the anxiety of opening up and showing vulnerability in a relationship. I tend to have a habit of shutting down when faced with difficult conversations, so this song hits on those frustrating moments.”

Necessary

Nick: “A ripper. We recorded this way back in 2018 with Pete Steinkopf of the Bouncing Souls and the title of the EP is lifted from a line in this track. Getting old is weird”

Can’t Come Back

Nick: “This track also came from our 2018 session with Pete. We wrote about 25 songs throughout the course of 2016-2017 in our friend Adam’s garage, with this being one of them. Musically I wanted to write a song that would make me feel like I was in Green Day. Zach came in and helped me finish up the music and took care of lyrics and melody. “
