Album Reviews
Hailing from Winnipeg, Screaming At Traffic has been cursing at drivers for a couple of years now. They recently released their sophomore album, which comes with the elaborate title ‘If You Play These Songs At A Party, You’ll Bum Everyone Out’. That’s actually not the case at all.
These emo punks have dodged the dreaded sophomore slump and instead cranked out 10 songs that have trace amounts of Iron Chic and Samiam coursing through their veins, but these guys have a more in-your-face, at times aggressive approach. Hell, on ‘Open Letter’ they even reminded me of Fucked Up. Just to show it’s hard to pin them down. Which is a good thing. So that part about bumming everyone out? Fake news!
