Jason Bateman, Mila Kunis, Ben Affleck, Kristen Wiig, Clifton Collins and Gene Simmons all start in this Mike Judge movie (Beavis & Butthead, Office Space) and together they manage to keep this thing somehow afloat.

Joel (Jason Bateman) is a flower-extract plant owner who likes to talk to his buddy Dean (Ben Affleck) about not having any sex with his wife. Over lots of booze and horse tranquilizers, Dean and Joel decide it would be a good idea to hire a gigolo to have sex with his wife so that Joel is free to have an affair of his own with Cindy (the always hot Mila Kunis). Meanwhile one of the guys in the plant gets one of his testicles blown off and sues the place with the help of a sleezy lawyer (Gene Simmons). The setup is there but it somehow never quite gels… and it’s a bit much to expect your viewers to believe that Joel’s wife would actually go for the gigolo.

While “Extract” is a fun movie to watch, it misses the focus of “Office Space”… one of the most underrated comedies around.
