Boston’s Ramming Speed have a new album out called “Doomed To Destroy, Destined To Die” and on it they sound like they want to live up to their name. There’s no slowing down this onslaught of thrash metal and hardcore punk with twin guitars and blistering drums as you will find out the second they storm out the gates with the title track.

The guitar leads and squeals come straight out of the NWOBHM handbook and if my neck didn’t already hurt, it would hurt like hell after banging my head throughout the thirteen songs on this album. The frenetic pace, the barked vocals, the seemingly endless display of frenetic energy and solid use of melody, make this a remarkable album that should please both metalheads and punks alike.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
