Growing Pains

Texas Is Funny recently welcomed Milwaukee’s The Midwestern Charm to their roster and immediately re-released the band’s second album, “Growing Pains”. This power-pop outfit sounds like they got their heart ripped out and stomped on before getting it handed back. Filled with heartbreak anthems, “Growing Pains” is a solid album that could have used a little more diversity in the vocal department, but is otherwise worth at least a couple of spins.
