Nothing To Be Gained Here

Originally known as North Korea (you daredevils you!), this band recently changed their name to NK. Which is equally lame. Comprised of members of Envy On The Coast, Dillinger Escape Plan and The Rivalry, NK channel their inner Deftones on “Nothing To Be Gained Here” yet fall short. This is mostly thanks to vocalist Ryan Hunter who never even comes close to Chino with his whiny vocals.
If you’re looking for a watered down version of Deftones, this might do it for you. Me, I’d rather stick with the real thing.
