Baltimore’s Something More have a new EP out called “Dogs”. It’s an 8-song pop-punk affair that bounces around from start to finish with energetic rhythms and big, melodic hooks. Nothing wrong with that. But unless you have never heard of New Found Glory, there is nothing on here that hasn’t been done before. And that’s right down to the lyrics that spout clichés about pushing yourself to achieve your full potential.
It’s not bad if you’re into this kinda sound, but I expected more from a band who call themselves Something More.
