Made up of members of Sheer Terror, The Casualties, Deathcycle, and more, Sonic Poison is a new band that comes with a lot of street cred and as a result of that, plenty of expectations. Sounding like something that could have been plucked off the streets of New York, DC or Boston during mid-80s, these dudes rip through four songs of ferocious hardcore punk on their self-titled 7”.
This bad boy clocks in at a little under 10 minutes, but as it turns out that’s all the time they need to knock you flat on your ass. Guess it’s fair to say they live up to the expectations. One to keep an eye out for!
Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
