The three piece punk band from the Rio Grande Valley are following up last year’s ‘Death From Below’ with a new 6-song EP that sees them barreling further down the same road. Which is a good thing if you are looking for a release to stick in between your Face To Face (‘All I Need’) and Teenage Bottlerocket (‘Hikikomori’) albums.
Stacked with energy, riffs that are as simple as they are effective and big hooks, The Palatines have a lot going for themselves. Just not a big fan of the artwork. But hey, details. My personal favorites? ‘Too Poor’ and ‘Vacation To Helheim’
