“Skin The Living” was Jungle Rot’s first demo ever. It was later re-released by Pure Death Records and is now being re-re-released (?) by Victory Records with a completely new album (“Terror Regime”) coming out in a couple of weeks.

If you haven’t heard Jungle Rot yet, they excel at playing old-school death metal that harkens back to Obituary and Bolt Thrower. Think mid-tempo chugfests with plenty of groove and equal amounts of aggression. The songs on “Skin The Living” weren’t original when they were being released for the first time back in 1995 and they aren’t now. But fuck it… Jungle Rot is just good fun!
