I Is Another

Ian Love (Rival Schools) and Jonah Matranga (Far, Gratitude,…) have quite a number of solo offerings between the two of them. Not all of them are equally memorable though, so it’s nice to see the two of them team up and drop an album that is a lot of fun.
If you grew up listening to Revelation Records, then I Is Another is definitely one for you. Love still knows how to write some great riffs and when combined with Matranga’s voice, solid songs like the hard-hitting “Shake”, the rocking “Kerry Jane” or the danceable “Dear Departed” seem to simply materialize out of thin air.
