Following up on their debut EP “Stop Giving”, Miami’s Wrong have now unleashed their first full-length upon the unsuspecting masses. And holy crap, they don’t know what’s gonna hit them!

These former members of Torche, Kylesa and Capsule have taken everything this reviewer loves about bands like Helmet and Unsane, distilled it and ended up with a barrage of merciless riffs and rhythms that will pummel your ass, tons of groove and the kind of barking vocals that would make my dog cower in fear beneath the coffee table. If I had a dog. I only have a cat and she is scared of everything.

Unlike Wrong, I’m digressing. These guys don’t digress and they don't waste time (the 11 songs on here clock in at around 30 minutes). They simply hit you over the head with another über-brutal riff and take what they want. But to make up for it, they will later throw in some melody. Not the kind of melodies you will find yourself singing in the shower for days after, but enough to make you forget about the beating you just took.

Is Wrong’s sound original? Hell no. But they did an amazing job of revisiting the past and came out with an alternative metal album that is quite simply, friggin’ awesome.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
