Pixies' Black Francis-Directed Video for "Um Chagga Lagga"

Written, storyboarded, produced and directed by Pixies frontman Black Francis, "Um Chagga Lagga," the new music video for the band's album Head Carrier (released September 30/Pixiesmusic/Play It Again Sam), makes its premiere today. True to the song's esoteric storyline, the part concept, part performance video is infused with a rousing, old-school Pixies urgency.
Working with French filmmaker Louis Collins, Black Francis chose Toulouse, France as the video's location, incorporating its scenic countrysides.
