Yesterday, The Lillingtons shared their video for the song "Rubber Room" via Brooklyn Vegan. The song is taken from the band's upcoming Project 313 EP, which will be out on June 9 via Red Scare Records.

Singer Kody Templeman (who’s also in Teenage Bottlerocket) tells us, “The song is about pretending you’re crazy when you’re not, just to play the system. It’s like my late Uncle Jack told me once, ‘Just sit here and pretend like you don’t know what’s going on!’ Best advice I ever received. Still use it to this day.”

Bassist Cory Laurence adds, “I don’t think our intent was to change the world with this one, but there is something to be said about simple freedoms this guy enjoys…”
