Movie Reviews
Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn are back to being bad moms in a sequel no one was waiting for. Not only are they back, but this time around their moms (Christine Baranski, Susan Sarandon and Cherly Hines) are involved as well. Obviously that means double the moms, but unfortunately also double the cringe-worthy moments and double the jokes that never land. I’ve heard reports that people in China were actually celebrating censorship so that they would never be accidentally exposed to this atrocity, which was written and directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore (the men who penned The Hangover).
There is something vaguely resembling a story in this mess… something about how Christmas is a very tiring and demanding time of the year for moms. But honestly, nobody cares. And unfortunately, that seemed to include the writers.
