After signing a deal with Fat Wreck a couple of months ago, New Orleans’ Pears was anxious to get their first new songs out via their new home. So they re-recorded two tracks they wrote back in April for their follow-up to “Go To Prison” and released them as a 7” called “Letters To Memaw”.

If you’ve heard “Go To Prison”, you won’t find any surprises on here. Both “Snowflake” and “Anhedonia” are fast-paced punkrock songs with solid melodic hooks and scathing hardcore sections. Sweet little release that should tie you over until their new album comes out early next year!
